Netflix Launches Civilization VI on Android

Netflix has brought the iconic world-building game, Civilization VI, to Android devices. Sid Meier's masterpiece allows you to compete against history's greatest leaders as you develop your civilization turn by turn, tile by tile.

Civilization VI: Netflix Is Pure Turn-Based Strategy

You begin with a humble Stone Age settlement, dreaming of transforming it into the *greatest* village. As you expand, you'll construct monuments, establish districts, and make strategic decisions to grow your empire. Throughout your journey, you'll encounter other renowned historical figures who may either ally with you or challenge your ambitions. If you're a fan of 4X strategy games, you'll feel right at home.

The Netflix edition of Civilization VI includes the Platinum Edition content, featuring the Rise and Fall and Gathering Storm expansions. Take a moment to watch the game trailer below.

The Question Isn’t How to Build an Empire, But How You Want to Win

Civilization VI: Netflix offers you the freedom to choose your path to victory. If you prefer to conquer with a formidable army, opt for the domination mode. For those who enjoy outmaneuvering opponents through diplomacy, that route is also available.

You can play as a peacemaker or a warmonger, a technological innovator, or a cultural icon. The game features a diverse roster of leaders, from Alexander of Macedonia to Eleanor of Aquitaine, each starting with a pivotal decision that shapes their journey.

Whether you choose to play solo or engage in multiplayer, Civilization VI: Netflix supports up to four players in local co-op or six in hotseat mode on the same device.

Developed by Aspyr, 2K, and Firaxis, Civilization VI is now available for free to Netflix subscribers. You can download it from the Google Play Store.
