Mask Around: The Sequel to the Bizarre Mask Up

Mask Around, the sequel to 2020's quirky roguelike platformer Mask Up, is now available on Google Play. This time around, the gooey protagonist adds shooting mechanics to their repertoire, offering a blend of run-and-gun action and close-quarters brawling.

Remember the original Mask Up? You evolved from a puddle of yellow goo into a… well, a buff pile of goo. Mask Around retains that signature yellow ooze, but with some surprising new twists. While the original focused primarily on 2D brawling, Mask Around introduces 2D shooting, allowing players to seamlessly switch between ranged combat and melee attacks.

Resource management remains crucial. The precious yellow ooze is still in limited supply, demanding careful usage, particularly during challenging boss encounters.

A Refined Formula

Mask Around appears to be a significant upgrade from its predecessor. While retaining the core gameplay, it expands upon it considerably. Players must strategically manage their ooze while utilizing weapons, adding a new layer of depth. The visuals also boast a noticeable polish.

Currently available on Google Play, there's no confirmed iOS release date yet. If you're looking for a unique mobile gaming experience, Mask Around is definitely worth checking out. And don't forget to explore our latest list of top mobile games for even more exciting options!
