Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10th Anniversary with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a major update from Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios, set to launch on March 25th. This update introduces new fighters, a revamped Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and a slew of anniversary rewards.

The spotlight of the update is the addition of MK1 Geras, a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras brings a diverse set of abilities including power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To unlock him, players will need to engage in Realm Klash events or advance through the Kombat Pass.

Klassic Skarlet joins the roster as the first gold-tier fighter that can be ascended to Level 5. She features unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from enemies. Skarlet can be obtained via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard Kombat Pass.

Faction Wars has been revamped and renamed Realm Klash. Players can now select from five different realms and compete for Realm Points during two-week seasons, moving beyond the traditional fight for Blood Rubies.

The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks to Mortal Kombat Mobile: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now come with new Kameo offers and MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual update, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for old exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time presents an extreme challenge, running for two weeks with 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, including Brutality equipment sets for MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras.

A Fusion Boost modifier has been added, enhancing the lowest fused card in your team to balance gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a return.

As part of the anniversary celebration, starting April 1st, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo daily for 10 days. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters, Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke, are now eligible for ascension.
