Capcom has released hotfix 1.000.05.00 for *Monster Hunter Wilds* across all platforms, addressing several key issues and improvements. This patch tackles various progression-blocking bugs, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. While this update doesn't include performance enhancements, it's a significant step towards improving stability and fixing reported problems.

Despite a "mixed" user review rating on Steam, *Monster Hunter Wilds* has achieved phenomenal success, selling 8 million copies in just three days—a record-breaking launch for Capcom. The game also boasts the fifth-highest concurrent player count ever on Steam, peaking at a staggering 1,384,608 players—surpassing even titles like *Dota 2*, *Cyberpunk 2077*, and *Elden Ring*. This is a massive leap from its predecessor, *Monster Hunter: World*, which peaked at 334,684 concurrent players.

A major title update is planned for early April, promising a new endgame area and additional monster hunting challenges.
