Monster Hunter Now: Season 5

Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises a thrilling update packed with new content. Before the main event, however, players can encounter the Chatacabra starting February 28th, marking its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 itself will introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

Weapon balance adjustments are also in store, aiming to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff for easier targeting of breakable parts like tails, and the Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified performance and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill receives a significant upgrade, with higher skill levels now noticeably reducing damage taken while blocking. Further details on these and other tweaks will be revealed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Season 5 also addresses a common player frustration: overflowing inventories. An Item Box Expansion, available as a Supply Item, will provide an additional 250 inventory slots.

A new feature celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary arrives on March 17th. This feature allows trading of special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
