Microsoft Unveils Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 Titles

Microsoft has unveiled the exciting lineup for Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2, just ahead of their Xbox Developer Direct event on January 23. This event promises to showcase several day one Game Pass releases, including highly anticipated titles like Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a yet-to-be-revealed fourth game.

Starting today, January 21, subscribers can dive into Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders (available on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S) as a day one release on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. This sequel to Lonely Mountains: Downhill introduces cross-platform multiplayer for up to eight players, allowing you to conquer snowy slopes together or race to the bottom.

On January 22, Flock (Console) joins Game Pass Standard, offering a delightful co-op experience where players soar through stunning landscapes to collect adorable flying creatures. Also on the same day, Gigantic: Rampage Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) arrives on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. This definitive edition of the 5v5 MOBA hero shooter brings dynamic team-based action with a diverse roster of heroes.

January 22 continues to be packed with new additions, including Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess (Console) on Game Pass Standard, a unique Japanese-inspired action strategy game set on a defiled mountain. Magical Delicacy (Console), Tchia (Xbox Series X|S), and The Case of the Golden Idol (Console) also join Game Pass Standard on the same day.
