Fortnite players diving into the Outlaws Story Quests have encountered an unexpected twist. The latest challenge requires completing a Community Quest to obtain the Outlaw Keycard - a brand-new game feature. Here's your complete guide to teaming up with the Fortnite community for successful Vault and Case heists.

Alongside the coveted Outlaw Midas skin, Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2's midseason update introduced the mysterious Outlaw Keycard challenge. While details remain scarce, completing these quests will upgrade your keycard's rarity, unlocking new Battle Royale areas and services. This requirement has left many players puzzled since progressing further in the Story Quests depends on finishing this community challenge first.

The process itself appears straightforward - players must join Battle Royale matches to loot Fletcher Kane's Vaults and Cases. This cooperative mechanic resembles the earlier Doctor Doom boss fight that required player coordination. While defeating Doom proved relatively quick, Season 2's Community Quest promises a more substantial commitment.

Early testing reveals the challenge's scale - even after successfully robbing a Vault immediately upon landing, the community progress meter showed no movement. This confirms players can't complete the challenge alone and must wait for collective participation.

Further indicating this will be a lengthy challenge, the next batch of Outlaw Quests won't arrive until March 25 - nearly two weeks away. Fortnite's developers clearly anticipate this community effort requiring significant time, potentially a full week. While the delay might frustrate some players, the newly available Golden Gunslinger Quests offer plenty of fresh content during the wait.

That covers everything about executing successful Vault raids with Fortnite's community. For more Season 2 content, check out rumored upcoming collaborations.
