Lies of P's director, Ji-Won Choi, recently shared a message thanking fans and teasing upcoming DLC and a sequel for the steampunk Pinocchio-inspired Soulslike game.

A year after Lies of P's release, developer NEOWIZ celebrated with a heartfelt letter from director Choi, revealing upcoming DLC details. Choi expressed gratitude for fan support, highlighting the team's dedication despite challenges. He emphasized the DLC's aim to build upon the original game's strengths while addressing previous issues. "For the DLC and the sequel, we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow," Choi wrote. He also thanked Team NOUGH and ROUND8 Studio.

The letter included exciting teases: concept art depicting P in a snowy outpost before a lighthouse, hinting at a new, perilous story. A new song, "Lisrim," composed by onoken in 2022, was also shared; the accompanying music video features a character with a clockwork weapon rescuing a girl, echoing the game's style. NEOWIZ owns both the song and the video.

Lies of P DLC Release Date?

While a precise release date remains unannounced, NEOWIZ's Q1 2024 Earnings Results suggest a launch in the second half of 2024, alongside The Legend of Heroes: Gagharv Trilogy, Cats & Soup: Malang Town, Cats & Soup: Magic Recipe, and Project IG.

Last November, an eight-minute video showcased early concept art, revealing environments like a towering industrial facility and a perilous shipwreck.

Choi assures fans that their anticipation will be rewarded, urging patience while promising this DLC is only the beginning—a full sequel is also in development.
