One More Level, Creators of Ghostrunner, Reveal Image of Their New Game

One More Level, the studio behind the acclaimed Ghostrunner series, has revealed a new project: Cyber Slash. Known for their fast-paced, brutal action games, One More Level is branching out with this title, set in a dark, alternate-history Napoleonic era.

While the studio is also developing Project Swift (slated for a 2028 release), the newly unveiled image strongly suggests a focus on Cyber Slash.

Cyber Slash promises an epic, action-packed experience, reimagining the early 19th century with legendary heroes battling unknown forces. The gameplay will maintain elements of precise combat, including parrying and exploiting enemy weaknesses, but will depart from the strict Souls-like formula. A key element will be the protagonist's evolution through mutations throughout the game. This departure from the Ghostrunner formula suggests a fresh, exciting take on action-adventure gameplay.
