Letterlike Is a New Word Game That’s Like Balatro But with Scrabble!

Wordsmiths, rejoice! A new roguelike word game, Letterlike, is here, blending the best of Balatro and Scrabble. This unique combination of vocabulary and roguelike randomness offers endless replayability.

Conquering Letterlike's Word Puzzles

Letterlike's roguelike nature ensures each playthrough is a unique challenge with procedurally generated letter sets and obstacles. Your objective? Create words, earn points, and progress through levels. Each level consists of three rounds, each demanding a certain point total to advance.

You're given five attempts (lives) per round to construct high-scoring words, Scrabble-style. Strategic letter selection is key, as discarding letters is limited. Fortunately, a handy rearrange mode allows you to manipulate your letter tiles as needed.

The final round introduces a twist: some letters become worthless, yielding zero points. Plan carefully!

Earned points unlock powerful upgrades and items to enhance future runs. Some buffs are automatic, while others require reaching specific levels. Collected gems also fuel these upgrades, paving the way for easier victories.

Ready to Play?

Letterlike offers a simple yet addictive gameplay loop. Share your runs (including those frustrating letter combinations!) with friends using shared seeds. The game is ad-free with a one-time purchase and offers offline play. A free demo is available on the Google Play Store, allowing you to test the waters before committing.
