Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is canceled for being subpoenaed and progressive

Activists have targeted Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 following the discovery of subpoenas within the game, sparking a campaign to cancel the project.

The game's recent attention from "agenda-driven" activists, including Grummz, and reports of its ban in Saudi Arabia fueled speculation about its content and alleged "progressive" themes.

This led to online attacks against the developers, calls to boycott Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and efforts to discourage support for the studio.

Warhorse Studios' PR manager, Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, responded to the controversy, urging the public to trust the developers and not believe everything found online.

Stolz-Zwilling confirmed that review codes would be distributed "in the coming days" after the game achieved gold status in early December. These codes are expected to be released four weeks prior to launch, allowing streamers and reviewers ample time to prepare their content.

Interestingly, the first "final previews," based on portions of the review copy, are anticipated a week after the code distribution.
