Kingambit Joins Pokémon Go in Crown Clash Event Next Month

As you wrap up the Sweet Discoveries event, get ready to dive into the regal excitement of the upcoming Crown Clash in Pokémon Go. Mark your calendars for May 10th to 18th, a period filled with opportunities to evolve the mighty Kingambit, adorn your Pokémon with crowns, and hunt for Shiny Pokémon, all while earning bonus XP for your evolutions.

Kingambit, the Big Blade Pokémon, will make its grand entrance during the Crown Clash event. To add this powerful Pokémon to your roster, you'll need to evolve Bisharp. But here's the catch: Bisharp must be your buddy, and you'll have to conquer 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles. No need for Bisharp to fight; just bring it along to claim those victories.

Adding to the royal festivities, Nidoqueen and Nidoking will debut in their regal crowns. These crowned Pokémon will star in three-star raids, and if luck is on your side, you might even encounter their Shiny versions. The one-star raid lineup will feature Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard.

The wild will be bustling with activity too. Keep an eye out for frequent spawns like Slowpoke (which might reward you with a King’s Rock), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more often, giving you additional chances to catch this Pokémon.
