Borderlands 4

Showcased gameplay footage highlighted the game's signature blend of guns, enemies, and humor. Further details are promised in a future State of Play. Release date: September 23, 2025.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword

A trailer revealed the continuation of Capcom's iconic samurai action series. Expect stylish combat against demons in feudal Kyoto, reminiscent of *Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance*. Release is slated for 2026, with a remastered version of *Onimusha 2* arriving May 23, 2025.

Saros

Housemarque (creators of *Returnal*) unveiled *Saros*, a new game promising an evolution of their rogue-like third-person action, blended with a surreal, Lynchian narrative. Set on the planet Carcosa, threatened by a sinister eclipse, the game draws inspiration from Indian mythology. Release is planned for 2026.

Hell is Us

Described as "Death Stranding with action," this action-adventure title from director Jonathan Jacques-Belletête (art director of *Deus Ex: Human Revolution* and *Deus Ex: Mankind Divided*) is inspired by *Annihilation* and Jeff VanderMeer's *Southern Reach* trilogy. Set in a war-torn country amidst an otherworldly apocalypse. Release date: September 4, 2025.

Days Gone Remastered will launch with updated graphics and new modes on April 25, 2025. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, featuring all bosses, releases August 28, 2025.

MindsEye

Leslie Benzies' first project since leaving Rockstar Games. The trailer suggests a game aiming to redefine the gaming landscape. A summer 2025 release is anticipated.

The *Overture* DLC for *Lies of P* explores the protagonist's backstory in the snowy city of Krat, releasing Summer 2025. *Stellar Blade* launches on PC and features a crossover with *Goddess of Victory* in June 2025. *Lost Soul Aside*, a Final Fantasy-style adventure, debuts May 30, 2025. *Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic* gameplay was shown, with a June 13 release date.

Other titles shown included *Tides of Annihilation* (a blend of *Elden Ring* and *Stellar Blade*), *Metal Eden* (a PS5 exclusive first-person sci-fi shooter releasing May 6, 2025), updates for *Monster Hunter Wilds*, *Shinobi: Art of Vengeance* (August 29, 2025), *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds* (closed beta February 21), *Split Fiction* (March 6, 2025), *Directive 8020*, *The Midnight Walk* (May 8, 2025), and *Dreams of Another*.

Expect a busy year of gaming releases throughout 2025!
