Karrablast, Shelmet Star in Pokémon Go's February 2025 Community Day

Get ready for an exciting Pokémon Go Community Day on February 9th, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, where Karrablast and Shelmet will take center stage. During this three-hour event, these Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, offering players a golden opportunity to catch them and potentially encounter their elusive Shiny forms. As with every Community Day, you can look forward to the usual bonuses and engaging additional research tasks to enhance your gameplay experience.

If you manage to catch enough Karrablast and Shelmet, you'll have the chance to evolve them into Escavalier and Accelgor, respectively. These evolutions come with exclusive charged attacks: Escavalier will learn Razor Shell, boasting 35 power in Trainer Battles and 55 in gyms and raids, while Accelgor gains the powerful Energy Ball, with 90 power across all battles.

For a small fee of $2 or your local equivalent, you can purchase a Community Day Special Research ticket. This ticket grants access to a unique Dual Destiny-themed Special Background and encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet. Additionally, the ticket includes extra encounters, a Premium Battle Pass, and Rare Candy XL, making it a valuable addition to your event experience.

For those who log in during the event, a free Timed Research quest will be available, offering another chance to encounter Karrablast and Shelmet, along with an increased likelihood of finding their Shiny versions. Don't forget to redeem Pokémon Go codes for some free rewards to enhance your event experience!

Throughout the event, various bonuses will be active. You'll earn triple XP and double Candy for catching Pokémon, with Trainers level 31 and above having a higher chance of receiving Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense will last for three hours, and trading will be more beneficial with an additional Special Trade and a 50% reduction in Stardust costs.

Engage with Community Day-themed Field Research for rewards such as Stardust, Great Balls, and additional encounters with the featured Pokémon. Keep an eye out for PokéStop Showcases, which provide another exciting way to participate in the event.
