Junji Ito's Terrifying Skins Debut in DbD Collection

Horror multiplayer game Dead by Daylight has teamed up with the legendary Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito to introduce a chilling new collection of character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works. Dive into the details of this spine-tingling collaboration!

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is set to launch the exclusive Junji Ito collection, marking a thrilling collaboration with the renowned manga artist. Junji Ito, celebrated for his distinctive macabre storytelling and surrealist style over the past 40 years, has now brought his eerie characters into the world of Dead by Daylight for what's being hailed as the "ultimate horror collaboration."

Eight Skins To Collect

The collection features eight unique skins, drawing inspiration from Ito's notable works such as "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors." The Killers featured in this collection include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. Notably, The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, enhanced with new audio and sound effects. The Spirit will transform into Tomie, while The Artist will embody Miss Fuchi from "Rumors, Fashion Model." Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson will also receive skins inspired by Ito's creations.

In a heartwarming moment shared on the Dead by Daylight official X (Twitter) account, Junji Ito himself expressed his joy and satisfaction at seeing his characters come to life within the game. "It was very moving to see that they had become even more terrifying characters after leaving my hands," Ito remarked. He even took the opportunity to play the game as a killer, donning The Artist's Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito collection will be available starting January 7th, 2025, for Dead by Daylight on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
