Twitter user MSKAZZY69 shared four screenshots supposedly from the game's development build, showcasing a map and various gameplay scenes. MSKAZZY69 claims Midori as their source, describing the remake as a complete overhaul of the original, distinct from a separate, live-service reboot also reportedly in development. This aligns with Midori's previous claims of an open-world remake featuring graffiti, shooting mechanics, and an expanded narrative.

Further fueling speculation, a YouTube video emerged showcasing alleged gameplay. The video's art style and graphics are consistent with the leaked screenshots, displaying updated, more realistic character and environment designs. The footage depicts protagonist Beat engaging in graffiti art, executing skate tricks, and navigating Tokyo's vibrant streets.

The Authenticity Question

It’s important to note that Midori's social media presence has been deleted, making it difficult to verify the leaks' authenticity. While the images and video have generated considerable excitement amongst fans, Sega has yet to officially confirm or deny their legitimacy.
