Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Controversy Compensation Offered

Infinity Nikki is offering compensation for the issues encountered in the release of version 1.5. Dive into the details of what players can expect to receive and what developer Infold Games has planned for the future.

Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates

Free Diamonds as Compensation

Infinity Nikki's version 1.5 release was highly anticipated, with developer Infold Games promising significant updates. However, the update fell short, leading to an unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content. In a Twitter (X) post on May 18, Infold Games acknowledged these issues and offered compensation.

The update introduced a range of technical problems and bugs across various platforms, making the game unplayable for some players. Additionally, sudden changes were made to the game's systems, such as increasing the cost of 5-star outfits from 9 or 10 pieces to 11 pieces. This change raised the number of pulls needed to complete an outfit to 220, making it more costly and time-consuming for players.

A new dye system was also introduced, which players found confusing and cumbersome, as it requires unlocking color palettes for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was removed due to ongoing development of the associated outfit. Infold Games stated, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 every day from June 5 to June 12, totaling Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8." Despite this gesture, the studio has yet to outline specific plans to address these issues, leading to concerns from the community about the pity change, the dye system, and other bugs.

Delayed Version 1.6

Due to the problematic release of version 1.5, the developers have extended its duration to allow more time to resolve the issues. Consequently, version 1.6 has been delayed until June 12, 2025, impacting the schedule of in-game events.

The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, will now launch with version 1.6. Infold Games stated, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." Players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals as compensation for this delay.

Infold Games is just beginning to address the myriad of problems introduced by version 1.5. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," Infold explained.

To improve communication with players, the developers are launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. This platform allows players to directly share their concerns and feedback with the developers. Players can participate by emailing the game's official email account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or using the in-game Customer Service option.

Infold Games expressed, "We feel guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making the game "shine brighter than ever."
