Once Human launches cross-test platform for mobile and PC as it heads towards launch

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 17,2025

NetEase's post-apocalyptic shooter, Once Human, is launching its first cross-play test, offering a sneak peek at its cross-progression features before its April mobile release. This closed beta confirms seamless transitions between devices.

Following the success of Marvel Rivals, NetEase's Once Human (initially released on PC) arrives on mobile. The game casts players as survivors in a supernatural apocalypse, tasked with rebuilding society while battling monstrous threats and even potentially untrustworthy fellow humans.

Once Human's blend of stunning visuals and horror-infused run-and-gun gameplay has generated significant anticipation. While previous beta tests occurred, this cross-progression test is a key feature for players, likely the last chance to experience the game before its April launch.

More Human Than Human

The test runs until March 30th, with sign-ups still open. While Once Human might not have captured a massive PC audience compared to Marvel Rivals, its stylish shooter mechanics seem perfectly suited for mobile players. The upcoming mobile release is excellent news for this audience.
