Dubbed 'A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn,' this update represents the final chapter of the current narrative arc before the Astral Express embarks on its journey to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

As the journey in Penacony concludes with Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7, the Crew is gearing up for their transition to the mysterious Amphoreus, as suggested by Black Swan. While Miss Himeko diligently gathers information about their next destination, the Crew takes the opportunity to bid farewell to Penacony.

This update features emotional reunions and cherished moments as the Crew reconnects with old friends and enjoys a memorable performance at the Grand Theater. Two new characters, Sunday and Fugue, make their debut in these performances, adding depth to the storyline.

Sunday, the former head of the Oak Family, teams up with the cunning Pepeshi named Wonweek for a final dazzling act on the 'Planet of Festivities.' As a 5-star Imaginary character, his Ultimate focuses on energy regeneration, blessing a teammate and their summon with 'The Beatified.'

Fugue, known previously as Tingyun, has endured significant trials since the chaos of Version 1.2's showdown with Phantylia. Having narrowly escaped death, she owes her second chance to Madam Ruan Mei of the Genius Society. Fugue, a 5-star Fire character, excels at breaking down enemies with her fiery Ultimate, which burns through all enemies' Toughness while dealing Fire DMG.
