Changing Appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds (Hunter and Palico)

Monster Hunter Wilds offers an incredibly detailed character creator, allowing you to craft an avatar that could almost mirror your real-life appearance. If you decide you want to tweak your character's look later in the game, you're in luck. Once you've unlocked the base camp, simply head to your tent and navigate to the Appearance Menu by pressing L1 or R1. From there, select the Change Appearance option, and you'll be able to revisit the character creator to adjust both your Hunter and Palico's appearances.

How to Change Outfits and Use Layered Armor

The Layered Armor feature is available right from the start of Monster Hunter Wilds. To access it, go to your tent and enter the Appearance Menu, then select Equipment Appearance. This feature lets you customize your Hunter's outfit to your heart's content, though you're restricted to the Layered Armor items you've unlocked.
