"Grand Theft Auto V PC Release Set for March 4"

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 18,2025

After over two years, PC players of *Grand Theft Auto V* are in for a treat with a major update set to launch on March 4. This update will align the PC version more closely with the enhanced features found in the native PS5 and Xbox Series versions that debuted in 2022. The best part? It's absolutely free for all current players, and your progress in both GTA Online and the Story Mode will seamlessly transfer without any extra effort on your part.

The lion's share of the upgrade focuses on *GTA Online*, bringing a wealth of content previously unavailable to PC players. Now, the GTA+ subscription service, which offers a range of perks including accelerated profits from in-game businesses, will also be accessible on PC. Rockstar Games has not only enriched the gaming experience but also bolstered anti-cheat protections to ensure a fair playing field.

Alongside these additions, the update introduces significant graphical enhancements. However, be prepared for a bump in system requirements. If your hardware can't keep up with the demands of the new version, don't worry—you'll have the option to continue playing the older version, which the developers will still support. Keep in mind, though, that there won't be any cross-version support, meaning players on different versions won't be able to play together.
