Genshin Impact's Natlan Archon Quest is nearing its end, unveiling lore speculated since the game's beginning and evolving combat mechanics. Each nation features two weekly bosses, and the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire presents a significant challenge. This formidable dual-sword-wielding dragon embodies the original Natlan ruler, its appearance intensified by the Abyss's influence. Similar to Inazuma's Riftwolves, it employs a Corrosion effect, demanding strategic combat. While difficult, victory is attainable. Here's a comprehensive guide to defeating the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire.

Where To Find The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Locate the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire within the Stone Stele Records domain, situated south of the Statue of Seven near the Masters of the Night-Wind tribe. This shrine commemorates lives lost in the Natlan battle. Entering the domain allows you to claim rewards using 30 Original Resin for the first three weekly bosses.

Completing the Archon Quest's final chapter, "When All Becomes A Monument," unlocks this boss. Alternatively, access it via the Quick Challenge option in the Adventurer's Handbook.

How To Beat The Lord Of Eroded Primal Fire In Genshin Impact

Success hinges significantly on utilizing Natlan characters like Mavuika, Kinich, Citlali, and Mualani.

While mostly stationary, the Lord of Eroded Primal Fire summons three pillars and three Tenebrous Mimiflora. Nightsoul Blessing characters significantly expedite their defeat.

Make Sure To Destroy The Three Pillars With Nightsoul Blessing

While other characters can destroy the pillars, Natlan characters like Mavuika, Citlali, Kinich, or Kachina drastically reduce the time needed, preventing the devastating Eroded Meteor strike. Breaking the pillars immobilizes the dragon for approximately 10 seconds, creating a crucial damage window.

However, pillar destruction speed depends on the character used. When the meteor animation begins, equip a shield and switch to your healer. Consistent healing is crucial to survive the corrosion effect, even with a shield; it inflicts substantial damage, potentially one-shotting unshielded characters. Healers like Furina and Kokomi are ideal; Kuki, Barbara, and Bennett offer viable alternatives.

Try Your Best To Dodge Or Stay Underneath The Dragon

Dodging the dragon's unpredictable attacks is challenging. It transforms into smoke, making tracking its movements difficult. Frantic waves of sword slashes and smashes significantly reduce the battlefield, hindering movement and dodging.

When the battlefield shrinks, stay close to the dragon and attack from underneath. However, be cautious; the Eroded Dragon Breath attack requires consistent healing despite shielding. Staying near its hands avoids the breath's range. The dragon also employs sword slashes, necessitating immediate healing to counteract the Erosion effect.

A healer is indispensable.

Co-Op Mode and Matching

Regardless of your Natlan character roster, Co-Op Mode provides assistance, particularly during the pillar phase. Use the "Match" button within the domain to team up with others for an easier fight.

Unlike previous weekly bosses, this fight lacks multiple phases but demands considerable time and strategic execution.
