How To Upgrade Weapons In Freedom Wars Remastered

To upgrade weapons in Freedom Wars Remastered, progress through the main story until you reach Level 002 Code Clearance. At this point, CODE 2 Sinners unlock the Facility Management Function through the Personal Responsibility Portal. In the Weapon Development Facility, you can manage and upgrade all your weapons. Upgrading requires specific resources and your hard-earned Entitlement Points, though this cost can be reduced by enlisting the help of a Citizen. Various Citizens are available, each offering different reduction rates based on their Facility Manager Aptitude. While it might seem complex at first, the system becomes straightforward once you get the hang of it.

Before proceeding with an upgrade, you'll see a screen showing the expected changes to your weapon’s stats. The Weapon Development Facility also lets you add Elements and experiment with Modules and Module Slots. To upgrade a weapon to a higher Grade, you must purchase the required permit from the Claim Entitlement tab on the Window of Liberty.

You can donate Low-Grade weapons found during missions for a reduced sentence and additional Entitlement Points.

The first upgrade in the Weapon Development Facility unlocks the "In Search of the Strongest Weapon" trophy/achievement, with more achievements linked to the upgrading system, making it a must for trophy enthusiasts.
