Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: Mortal Kombat Crossover Launches February 21

Epic Games has unveiled the exciting new Battle Pass skins for Fortnite's next season: Wanted. Forgoing the usual codename, this season dives headfirst into a thrilling heist theme, complete with gun-toting villains, gold-filled getaway vans, and explosive bank vault challenges.

Kicking off on February 21st, Wanted features a major collaboration with the iconic Mortal Kombat franchise. Sub-Zero himself joins the Battle Pass roster, perfectly complementing the season's robbery-focused aesthetic. This crossover cleverly promotes the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 film, starring Karl Urban as Johnny Cage and Adeline Rudolph as Kitana.

Battle Pass skins will be available for purchase using V-Bucks, priced at the standard 1,500 V-Bucks per character.

Returning favorites include the Flare Gun, C4, and the Diplomat turret. While other weapons remain a mystery, speculation runs rampant amongst players. The heist-themed Chapter 4 Season 4 is fueling rumors of the EMP Grenade, classic SMGs, the Tommy Gun, and even the Grappler making a comeback. However, these are currently unconfirmed.

A highly anticipated addition is Smart Building, a game-changer that anticipates your building needs based on your aiming direction. The heist theme extends to gameplay mechanics, replacing keycards with vault breaches. Players will need Meltanite, Fortnite's version of thermite, to crack open these vaults and claim their rewards.
