The informal competition among gacha games continues to intensify, with recent financial data from February 2025 indicating a decline in revenue for several top titles, including Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. Gacha game enthusiasts are closely monitoring these financial trends within the genre, and new statistics for February 2025 have been released, shedding light on the performance of these popular games.

miHoYo, also known as HoYoverse, has three major titles that all saw a dip in earnings during this period. Honkai Star Rail, which secured the fourth position, experienced a revenue drop from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, ranking sixth, saw a substantial decrease from over $99 million to $26.3 million, following a previous surge attributed to the Mavuika banner event. Zenless Zone Zero, coming in eighth, also witnessed a decline from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans can look forward to a potential increase in earnings, as updates featuring new characters are slated for release in Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.

In February 2025, Pokemon TCG Pocket emerged as the leading gacha game, generating an impressive $79 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace secured the second spot with $49.5 million, while Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle rounded out the top three with $47 million.
