While *Dynasty Warriors: Origins* isn't open-world in the truest sense, its sizable map offers a significant area to explore. Initially, navigation is straightforward, but as the game progresses and more provinces unlock, traversing the map can become time-consuming. This is further complicated by the constant unlocking of new skirmishes and requests, often requiring extensive backtracking. Fortunately, mastering fast travel is key to efficient gameplay, especially for those aiming to complete all side content.

Here's how to utilize fast travel in *Dynasty Warriors: Origins*:

How to Fast Travel

Dynasty Warriors: Origins Fast Travel

Fast travel utilizes Waymarks. To use this feature, you must first unlock Waymarks by approaching them on the world map and holding X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox). Once unlocked, they appear on the map screen, enabling instant travel.

Accessing the Map Screen

Access the map screen outside of battle by interacting with an unlocked Waymark or by pausing the game and navigating to the Map menu using the shoulder buttons. PlayStation players can conveniently access the map via the DualSense touchpad while on the world map.

Selecting a Destination

On the map screen, hovering over an unlocked Waymark reveals nearby locations and battles. Press Square (PlayStation) or X (Xbox) to toggle information. Use Triangle (PlayStation) or Y (Xbox) to cycle through battles and locations. Select your desired destination to automatically move the cursor to the nearest Waymark.
