EvoCreo2 Devs Address Multiplayer, Shiny Rates, Cloud Saves FAQs

EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG, the highly anticipated sequel to the original EvoCreo, has finally made its way to Android devices. Developed by ilmfinity—the creative minds behind other popular monster adventure titles—the game invites players into the vibrant world of Shoru, where they can catch, train, and battle with over 300 unique Creo creatures.

The game also features a deep narrative experience. Players begin their journey as a recruit in the Shoru Police Academy, tasked with investigating a growing number of mysterious monster disappearances. As you progress, you’ll complete more than 50 missions, uncover hidden secrets, and face off against fierce competitors in intense battles.

Recently, the development team took to Reddit to address some of the most frequently asked questions from the community. They also shared insights into what players can expect moving forward.

Top Community Questions Answered

  • Multiplayer Support: Yes, multiplayer is on the way—but not just yet. The team is currently prioritizing bug fixes and gameplay balance before launching this feature.

  • Controller & Cloud Support: Both controller compatibility and cloud save functionality are planned updates. These will be rolled out after the initial optimization phase.

  • Shiny Rates Revealed: Regular shiny Creos have a 0.2% chance of appearing in the wild, while rare shinies appear at a much lower rate of 0.02%. For those hoping to start with one—sorry, starter Creos cannot be shiny.

  • Capture Mechanics Explained: Lowering a Creo’s HP and applying status conditions increases your chances of a successful capture. However, rarer, higher-level, and shiny Creos naturally resist capture more than others.

  • Future Updates Roadmap: In the first few months post-launch, the focus will remain on refining the game experience. Once that's solidified, cloud saves and controller support will arrive. Later, the team plans to roll out new story content and, eventually, multiplayer features.

For now, players can jump into the world of EvoCreo2: Monster Trainer RPG directly from the Google Play Store.
