MGS Delta Peep Demo Theater Returning As Revealed by ESRB Rating

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) recently earned an M for Mature rating from the ESRB, signaling a faithful remake of the original with the return of a bold feature. The ESRB summary revealed that the Peep Demo Theater, a fan-favorite from the Subsistence and HD Collection editions, will reappear in this version.

The Peep Demo Theater allows players to view every cutscene featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear. Players can freely adjust the camera and zoom in on any part of her body. Unlocking this mode requires collecting all cutscenes in the Demo Theater, which demands completing the game four times.

The Mature rating aligns with the game’s premise, where players control an elite soldier navigating enemy territory with intense violence and gore. However, the return of the provocative Peep Demo Theater has sparked surprise, given its controversial and explicit content, which many assumed might be omitted in the remake.

Streamlined Camouflage Switching

Another highlight for MGS Delta is its revamped camouflage system. A March 28 post on Twitter (X) by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL showcased a video demonstrating a faster way to switch camouflage. The post stated, "Swap face and uniform camo instantly with this enhanced feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."

The footage revealed that players can now change camouflage in under three seconds, a significant improvement over the original game’s clunky process. In Metal Gear Solid 3, switching camo required pausing the game, navigating menus, and selecting options, which disrupted the flow of stealth gameplay and reduced immersion.

With the release of MGS Delta approaching, excitement is building for a remake that blends nostalgic features with modern upgrades. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is slated for release on August 26, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
