Elden Ring: Hidden Power of Blessing

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC's Blessing of Marika: A Mimic Tear Game Changer

Many Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC players are overlooking a game-changing tactic: equipping the Blessing of Marika for their Mimic Tear summon. Since the DLC's release, the Blessing of Marika's utility has been debated, with many players mistakenly consuming it, believing it to be a single-use item.

The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, while praised for some aspects, has received mixed Steam reviews due to concerns about loot quality, open-world design, and difficulty. For struggling players, the Blessing of Marika offers a significant advantage.

As highlighted by Twitch streamer ZiggyPrincess, the Blessing of Marika provides full HP restoration to the Mimic Tear, unlike the previously available Raw Meat Dumpling, which only restores 50%. This makes a significant difference in tough boss battles.

Utilizing the Blessing of Marika with Mimic Tear:

To activate this feature, simply equip the Blessing of Marika in your Quick Items slot (where Flasks, Spectral Seeds, and Spirit Summons are equipped). Upon summoning the Mimic Tear, it will automatically utilize the Blessing of Marika as needed, with seemingly unlimited uses.

The Blessing of Marika's location in the Gravesite Plains of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has caused confusion, as its flask-like appearance leads many to consume it prematurely. Fortunately, additional Blessings can be obtained by defeating a Tree Sentinel or by exploring Fort of Reprimand. Don't let an accidental consumption hinder your progress!
