Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero has been rated for Nintendo Switch 2, stirring excitement among fans even before any official announcement about the game's availability on the new console. While we await confirmation that this title, inspired by Akira Toriyama's beloved anime and manga series, will grace the Switch 2, a now-deleted tweet from the Saudi General Authority of Media Regulation, highlighted by the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit, has seemingly spilled the beans.

"Experience the fighting action in the latest game Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Available on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring 3D battles and storylines that change based on your choices," the tweet declared before its removal, also noting that the game had secured a 12+ rating.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero elevates the iconic gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series to new heights, offering an expansive roster of playable characters, each equipped with unique abilities, transformations, and techniques. In our IGN Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero review, we awarded it a 7/10, praising it as "a final flash from the past, sometimes to a fault, but the feeling of traveling back to a simpler time when games didn’t have to be balanced or competitive to be fun is still a good one."

Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders opened on April 24, maintaining a price of $449.99. As expected, demand was sky-high, leading Nintendo to warn U.S. customers applying for a pre-order through the My Nintendo Store that release date delivery was not guaranteed due to overwhelming interest.
