Nvidia Unveils RTX 50 Series GPUs with DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation at CES 2025

Nvidia's CES 2025 keynote showcased the RTX 50 series GPUs, featuring groundbreaking DLSS 4 technology with Multi-Frame Generation, boosting FPS significantly in 75 supported games. Initially exclusive to the RTX 50 series, this enhancement will be available in titles such as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Cyberpunk 2077, and Marvel Rivals.

The Blackwell architecture powering the RTX 50 series builds upon the Ada Lovelace architecture, refining DLSS and introducing Multi-Frame Generation for a substantial FPS increase compared to its predecessor. The flagship RTX 5090, priced at $1,999, boasts 32GB of GDDR7 memory. Other models include the RTX 5080 ($999), RTX 5070 Ti ($749), and RTX 5070 ($549).

Nvidia demonstrated the impact of DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation using Cyberpunk 2077. With ray tracing enabled and DLSS/Multi-Frame Generation disabled, the RTX 5090 achieved sub-30 FPS. Activating these features resulted in a remarkable jump to 236 FPS.
