Defend Your Evil Lair in Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, Now Out on Android!

Castle Doombad is back and better than ever! Now available on Android as Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014 by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, lets you unleash your inner villain.

Grumpyface, known for hits like Steven Universe: Attack the Light and Teeny Titans, initially planned a single Castle Doombad remake. Instead, they created two versions: Free To Slay for mobile and Castle Doombad Classic, a remastered edition with updated content, launching later this year on Nintendo Switch and Steam. A sequel, Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!, is also in development.

Embrace Your Inner Evil!

In Castle Doombad: Free To Slay, you build a wicked lair, defending against heroic do-gooders using traps and minions as your weapons.

This free-to-play game (with ads and optional in-app purchases) features 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, over 30 traps to unlock and upgrade, and more than 100 collectible items. A customizable cosmetics system, “spoils,” lets you adorn your Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. You can also equip “Baddie Bonus” perks.

A new roguelite mode, “Dr. Lord Evilstein’s Roguevenge,” adds randomly generated castle layouts and collectible Nightmares, granting unique villainous powers. Download Castle Doombad: Free To Slay from the Google Play Store today!
