Castle Doombad est de retour et meilleur que jamais ! Désormais disponible sur Android sous le nom de Castle Doombad : Free To Slay, ce jeu de stratégie de tower defense, initialement sorti en 2014 par Grumpyface Studios et publié par Yodo1, vous permet de libérer le méchant qui sommeille en vous.

Grumpyface, connu pour des succès comme Steven Universe : Attack the Light et Teeny Titans, avait initialement prévu un seul remake de Castle Doombad. Au lieu de cela, ils ont créé deux versions : Free To Slay pour mobile et Castle Doombad Classic, une édition remasterisée avec un contenu mis à jour, lancée plus tard cette année sur Nintendo Switch et Steam. Une suite, Castle Doombad 2 : Muahaha !, est également en développement.

Dans Castle Doombad : Free To Slay, vous construisez un repaire méchant, en vous défendant contre les bienfaiteurs héroïques en utilisant des pièges et des serviteurs comme armes.

Ce jeu gratuit (avec publicités et achats intégrés en option) propose 70 étapes, des défis quotidiens, des modes infinis, plus de 30 pièges à débloquer et à améliorer, et plus de 100 objets à collectionner. Un système cosmétique personnalisable, « spoils », vous permet de décorer votre Seigneur des Ténèbres et son antre avec des artefacts maléfiques. Vous pouvez également équiper les avantages « Baddie Bonus ».
