How to Get Deer Skin in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, most items are readily available for purchase or, if you prefer a more…adventurous approach, theft. However, sometimes crafting is the most efficient method. Here's how to acquire Deer Skin.

Where to Find Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

As the name implies, the primary source of Deer Skin is skinning deer. This requires unlocking a relevant Survival perk. Once unlocked, hunting becomes a viable option for obtaining as much Deer Skin as you need.

Deer are relatively common inhabitants of the game's forests, so finding them shouldn't pose much of a challenge. But if hunting isn't your cup of tea, there are alternative methods.

Where to Buy Deer Skin

While poacher and bandit camps might yield some Deer Skin, reliable merchants include:

  • Weaponsmiths and blacksmiths at Trosky Castle
  • Saddlers at Trosky Castle
  • Tanners at Vidlak Pond
  • Gamekeepers at Zhelejov

Most settlements feature traders who periodically stock Deer Skin. Trosky Castle's vendors tend to have a larger supply, but smaller settlements offer alternative sources.

Note: The gamekeeper in Zhelejov might occasionally be unavailable for trading. If this happens, well...let's just say there are alternative methods of acquiring items from unresponsive NPCs.

That covers the methods for obtaining Deer Skin in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. For more game guides and strategies, including whether to eliminate Jakesh and the intricacies of romancing Katherine, check out The Escapist.
