Contest of Champions Celebrates Halloween with FPS Boost

Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes a spooky Halloween update, adding new characters and challenges to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

A Spooky Halloween in the Battlerealm

This year's Halloween event features two terrifying new champions: Scream and Jack O' Lantern. Scream, the symbiote with a vendetta, joins forces with Jack O' Lantern, whose dark past is reflected in his ability to transform victims into eerie jack-o'-lanterns.

These chilling additions enhance the House of Horrors event, where players assist Jessica Jones in solving a mysterious case leading to a nightmarish carnival. Simultaneously, Jack's Bounty-full Hunt offers weekly challenges and unique paths in a gladiator-style battle, running from October 9th to November 6th.

10 Years of Marvel Contest of Champions

The Halloween festivities coincide with the game's 10th anniversary. Kabam is celebrating a decade of action with ten major reveals, including reworks for Medusa and Purgatory. The Deadpool's Ultimate Multiplayer Bonanza introduces an Alliance Super Season with collaborative bounty missions. Venom-themed content, such as the Venom: Last Dance event (October 21st – November 15th), is also part of the celebration. Anniversary Battlegrounds Season 22 is currently live until October 30th, offering new features that leverage buffs and critical hits.

60 FPS Update on the Horizon

A significant upgrade is the upcoming 60 FPS gameplay update, scheduled for November 4th, promising smoother and more fluid combat. The game currently runs at 30 FPS.
