Confirmed: Marvel Rivals will be getting 2 heroes every 3 months

NetEase Games is committed to keeping Marvel Rivals fresh and exciting for players with regular updates. Expect a new update roughly every six weeks, introducing two new heroes each quarter. This ensures a constant stream of new content to draw players back into the game.

Game director Guangyun Chen revealed that each season's update is divided into two parts: one new hero in the first half, and another in the second. This phased approach maintains player engagement throughout the season. Beyond new heroes, updates will also include new maps, storylines, and objectives. Several characters are already on the horizon, including the previously teased Blade and Altron (revealed through leaks), and the recently announced full Fantastic Four team.

According to Chinese gaming publication GameLook, Marvel Rivals has generated approximately $100 million globally, with a significant portion originating from the Chinese market. This successful launch marks a significant step for Marvel into the gaming world, building on their cinematic dominance.
