Clash of Clans to Remove Troop Training Times in Major Update

Clash of Clans, a cornerstone of mobile gaming, is set to undergo a significant transformation with the complete removal of troop training times. This change promises to revolutionize gameplay, allowing players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles more swiftly than ever before. However, it's crucial for players to utilize their existing Training Potions and Treats before the update, as these items will soon be phased out and converted into Gems at the end of the month.

While Clash of Clans may show its age in some aspects, Supercell has been actively modernizing the game. The elimination of troop, spell, and siege unit training times marks a pivotal shift, following the removal of training costs in 2022. This move is likely to evoke mixed emotions among the community, with excitement for quicker gameplay and nostalgia for the old mechanics.

As part of this overhaul, Training Potions and Training Treats are being removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards. They will still be available through the Trader and Gold Pass temporarily, but players should act fast to use them before they're gone.

To facilitate this new dynamic, Supercell is introducing a feature called "Match Anytime." This allows players to attack a snapshot of another player's base when real-time opponents are unavailable. While you can earn rewards from these matches, the players whose bases are used won't lose anything if defeated. This mechanic, already familiar in Clan Wars and Legend League, will now become a standard feature.
