Caverna: Cave Farmers Game Launches on Android

Caverna: The Cave Farmers, the beloved board game, now has a digital counterpart. The official adaptation of Caverna has just launched on Android, iOS, and Steam platforms. Designed by Uwe Rosenberg (creator of Agricola), this strategic gem first debuted in 2013.

The mobile version is published by German studio Digidiced, available for $11.99. Known for digital conversions of board games, Digidiced currently offers massive discounts on titles like Terra Mystica, Stockpile, Gaia Project, Chai, and Indian Summer.

Mastering Strategic Complexity in Caverna

In Caverna, players manage a dwarf clan's underground settlement, exploring multiple expansion paths. Starting with a simple cave, you'll strategically develop your subterranean domain.

Options include clearing forests for farming, establishing animal pastures, mining precious resources, or even equipping dwarves for expeditions. Each decision carries weight, as the game concludes after predetermined rounds and evaluates your progress across all development areas.

Digital Adaptation Highlights

The digital version smartly handles Caverna's intricate mechanics, offering AI opponents with distinct playstyles or multiplayer matches for up to seven players. Cross-platform online play and asynchronous options with notifications are included.

Solo enthusiasts can tackle weekly challenges with global leaderboards, while the replay feature helps analyze past games. Visually, players can toggle between classic board game aesthetics or enhanced 3D graphics. Available now on Google Play.
