Finding Captain Henqua’s Spoils Treasure Map in Avowed

To begin your quest, travel to the lighthouse situated in the western part of Calviger’s Landing within The Living Lands (located in the southern part of the map). Ascend the lighthouse using the available ledges and scaffolding. Carefully navigate the exterior until you reach the top—your reward awaits! There you'll find Captain Henqua's Spoils treasure map.

Locating Captain Henqua’s Spoils in Avowed

Descend from the lighthouse and head towards the nearby river. Follow the river north until you reach a broken bridge, northeast of the Old Pargrun Wall and the Western Pargrun Wall Beacon fast travel point. Proceed to the southern end of the bridge and descend to the riverbed. Swim westward, entering a cave. Once inside and on solid ground, you'll discover a chest containing the Wind and Wave shield.

The Wind and Wave Shield: Benefits and Upgrades

The Wind and Wave shield boasts a 10% movement speed increase and 20% Frost Accumulation resistance. Its Superb Quality makes it significantly stronger than other early-game shields. With sufficient resources (like Glasswood Branches and Adra Ban), you can even upgrade it to Legendary quality.
