"Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Unveils January 2025 Double XP Event"

In celebration of 115 Day, a nod to the beloved Zombies community, *Call of Duty: Black Ops 6* is launching an exciting Quad Feed Double XP event that runs until January 21. This event will boost your progression across various aspects of the game, including account levels, GobbleGum, weapons, and the Battle Pass. This live-service game continues to evolve with frequent updates and engaging limited-time events, keeping players immersed in the ever-changing world of Black Ops 6.

Zombies Mode, a fan-favorite in Treyarch-led *Call of Duty* titles, remains a cornerstone of Black Ops 6. Earlier this week, Treyarch teased a significant announcement for 115 Day, sparking excitement among long-time Zombies enthusiasts. The number "115" holds a special place in the Zombies lore, famously linked to Element-115, the catalyst for the zombie outbreaks, and is embedded in numerous Easter eggs throughout the series. In honor of this, Treyarch shared a wealth of celebratory content, including art and cosplay from the vibrant Zombies community.

Before diving into the Zombies-specific updates, Treyarch's blog post announced the Quad Feed Double XP event, starting January 15 and running until January 21 at 10am PT. This event doubles the experience earned for player account progression, all weapons, the Battle Pass, and the GobbleGum earn rate. This boost is perfect for players looking to maximize their progress before the arrival of Season 2 later this month.

What is Quad Feed Double XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6?

  • 2X GobbleGum earn rate
  • 2X Player XP
  • 2X Weapon XP
  • 2X Battle Pass XP

Alongside the XP boost, Treyarch highlighted the Zombies community's creativity through art, cosplay, and more. They also teased upcoming Quality of Life improvements set to launch with Season 2, along with stats for Zombies Directed Mode and a sneak peek at the new Zombies map, The Tomb.

While Black Ops 6 has had many highlights, it has also faced its share of challenges, including issues with hacking, cheating, bugs, and underwhelming limited-time events. These problems have led to a significant drop in the player base, with platforms like Steam losing nearly half their players since the game's launch in October 2024. As Season 2 approaches, the community is hopeful that these issues will be addressed, bringing renewed excitement to the game.
