The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event is packed with rewards, but earning them isn't a walk in the park. One particularly tricky challenge involves breaking and repairing an object. This guide shows you how.

Week 2's challenge requires raising your Handiness skill to level 2 or higher—a relatively straightforward task. The real hurdle? Repairing a broken object, with no indication of *which* object is broken. The easiest solution? Break something yourself!

While you can use the "prank" interaction, this requires a specific Sim trait, adding unnecessary complexity. A simpler method is to repeatedly use an item until it breaks. The Ambassador toilet is an inexpensive option; using it a dozen times or so will usually cause it to malfunction, spraying water everywhere. You can do this yourself or have other Sims use it.

Once your Handiness skill reaches level 2, simply select the "Repair" option on the broken object (your now-malfunctioning toilet). It'll take a few seconds, but you'll soon have a working toilet and a completed challenge.
