Botany Manor Announces New PS5 Release Date

Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Sprouts: January 28th Launch Confirmed

After a brief delay, the enchanting puzzle game Botany Manor will finally bloom on PlayStation consoles on January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release on PS4 and PS5, the game was pushed back to allow for additional polish and optimization.

Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The PlayStation port's delay, announced shortly before the original release date, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience. The new January 28th date was confirmed on January 9th, 2025.

While the release date is set, a PS Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase without microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated for the PlayStation release.

A Strong Contender in the PlayStation Puzzle Garden

Botany Manor earned widespread critical acclaim upon its initial release, boasting a strong "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100, 92% recommendation). Its relaxing atmosphere, ingenious puzzles, and engaging exploration have solidified its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. Its arrival on PlayStation is sure to enrich the console's growing collection of high-quality puzzle titles.

With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project. January 28th, 2025 will also see the PlayStation releases of Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
