Blue Protocol Global Release Canceled as Japan Servers Close DownBandai Namco's Blue Protocol, initially slated for a global launch, has been cancelled. The Japanese servers, where the game launched in June 2023, will also shut down on January 18, 2025. This decision follows declining player numbers and the game's failure to meet expectations.

To compensate players, Bandai Namco will provide 5,000 Rose Orbs monthly (starting September 2024) and 250 Rose Orbs daily until the game's closure. Rose Orb purchases and refunds will cease. Furthermore, Season 9 and subsequent season passes will be free, and a final Chapter 7 update is planned for December 18, 2024.

Despite initial promise, Blue Protocol ultimately failed to maintain a sustainable player base and achieve its financial targets.
