Blue Archive Update: New Character Joins Main Storyline

Blue Archive receives a major update featuring new story content, a swimsuit character, and various missions.

Nexon's latest update for Blue Archive continues the main storyline with Vol. 1 Foreclosure Task Force Chapter 3, "Traces of a Dream, Part 2." This chapter focuses on the Foreclosure Task Force facing new challenges following the Kaiser Group's withdrawal, despite the immediate threat having subsided. The lingering unresolved issues present a significant hurdle for the team.

The update also introduces Serika (Swimsuit), a 3-star Mystic-type Dealer character previously seen in the Abydos Resort Restoration Task Force event. Her ability to attack multiple enemies in a circular area makes her a valuable asset.

Serika joins other returning students, all sporting new swimsuit costumes, adding a summery touch to the update. These students include Chise, Izuna, Shiroko, Wakamo, Mimori, and Nonomi. They will be helpful in tackling the new questline.

New Area 26 missions (Normal and Hard modes) are also available. The "Foreclosure Task Force Midnight Meeting Guide Task" (running through December) offers rewards such as Abydos Student IDs and Recruitment Tickets. Additional achievements are available for both main story and regular missions.

Finally, the "Balancing Schale's Books" mini-event (until December 17th) allows players to earn Financial Calculators by completing missions and commissions. These calculators can be exchanged for various rewards.
