Nexon's Blue Archive receives a significant update titled "Rowdy and Cheery," introducing a wealth of new content for action-strategy RPG enthusiasts. This update centers around a chaotic field trip between Gehenna Academy and Allied Hyakkiyako Academy, unfolding over a 10-episode story arc. Players follow Gehenna students' journey to Hyakkiyako, amidst the frantic preparations of the Festival Operations Department. This comedic clash yields rewards such as Pyroxenes and Credit Points upon chapter completion.

The update introduces two new characters: Tsubaki (Guide), a tour guide from Allied Hyakkiyako Academy, and Umika, a Mystic-type Striker from the Festival Operations Department wielding a powerful Fireworks Launcher. A trailer showcasing their abilities is available below:

A new game mode, "Final Restriction Release," challenges players to defeat challenging bosses.
