Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

Author:Kristen Update:May 13,2025

After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, it appears that Bethesda is poised to officially unveil the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is slated for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can catch the reveal live on both YouTube and Twitch.

Bethesda teased the upcoming announcement via a post on Twitter/X today. While the specifics remain under wraps, the prominent "IV" and the background, which strikingly resembles a well-known piece of official Oblivion artwork, strongly suggest what's coming.

The buzz around an Oblivion remake has been building for what feels like an eternity. The initial whispers turned into solid leaks in recent weeks. The first hint came from a leaked 2020 Bethesda release schedule during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which indicated an Oblivion remaster was on the cards for fiscal year 2022. Although the document's age and missed release window hinted at a potentially canceled project, a January leak this year rekindled the flames by suggesting a full-blown remake developed by Bethesda in collaboration with Virtuos. The speculation reached a fever pitch last week when further leaks from Virtuos' website surfaced, showcasing the remake in action.

Should these latest leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. Additionally, fans can look forward to a Deluxe Edition, which will include the iconic horse armor, alongside the standard version.

Make sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be the official confirmation of this long-awaited remake, along with more exciting details.
