Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a monumental update, the 'Trans Edition,' introduced by the developers at Mecha Weka. This major update brings a wealth of new content to both single-player and multiplayer modes, enhancing the gaming experience for all players.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, enriching strategic options for players.

Existing cruisers receive a visual overhaul with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, offering fresh customization opportunities. Skirmishes now include Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, while PvP matches feature a new countdown start and aircraft trails that match player colors, enhancing visual engagement.

The update also includes extensive balancing changes. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate increasing from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health boosting from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret sees its damage rise from 40 to 60, though its range decreases from 19 to 16, adding new tactical considerations.

Graphically, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to revel in the wreckage of defeated foes. The sea's shading and enhanced visuals for cruiser and ship destruction further elevate the game's immersive experience.

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' enriches the adventure with new SideQuests and introduces the mysterious Battlefortress in the South Pacific, adding depth to the game's narrative.

Set in the year 2732 on a Flooded Earth, the game features a world where robots build and wage war. Players control their own Battlecruiser, equipping them with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
