Assassin’s Creed Shadows: Global Release Schedule Revealed

Ubisoft has officially announced the global release times for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows. In a departure from previous titles and general Ubisoft practice, Assassin's Creed Shadows will launch with a synchronized global release date, and there will be no option for early access through additional payment.

The game is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S at 12am local time on March 20. However, PC players should note that release times differ depending on the platform. Those purchasing through Steam or Ubisoft's own Ubi Connect will experience different launch times.

Pre-loading is currently available across all platforms, including Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

*Assassin's Creed Shadows* carries significant expectations for Ubisoft, especially following delays and the underwhelming sales of last year's *Star Wars Outlaws*. The company has faced numerous challenges recently, including high-profile flops, layoffs, studio closures, and game cancellations leading up to the launch of *Assassin's Creed Shadows*.

IGN's review of Assassin's Creed Shadows awarded it an impressive 8/10, praising the game for refining its open-world mechanics: “By sharpening the edges of its existing systems, Assassin’s Creed Shadows creates one of the best versions of the open-world style it’s been honing for the last decade.”
