Applin Debuts in Pokémon GO: Sweet Discoveries Await!

Pokémon GO enthusiasts, get ready for the Sweet Discoveries event, which is set to be a delightful experience, especially with the debut of Applin. If you're passionate about collecting new Pokémon or chasing those elusive shinies, this event is a must-attend. Here's everything you need to know about this exciting event.

When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?

The Sweet Discoveries event kicks off on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and continues until April 29th at 8:00 p.m. local time. The highlight of the event is the much-anticipated debut of Applin, a Grass and Dragon-type Pokémon hailing from the Galar region.

To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. If you're aiming for Appletun, the requirement is the same 200 candies but with 20 Sweet Apples instead. For its final evolution into Dipplin and then Hydrapple, make sure you have the necessary resources.

Now, about those Apples: they're crucial for evolution and can be found in the wild. When you tap on them, you might encounter a Tart Apple, a Sweet Apple, or even Applin itself. Your chances of finding these Apples increase around Mossy Lure Modules.

Did You Know?

Applin lives its entire life inside an apple, cleverly disguising itself to avoid its natural predators, bird Pokémon. It's undoubtedly one of the cutest Pokémon in the entire roster of Pokémon GO.

During the Sweet Discoveries event, you can also look forward to new avatar items in the shop, including the Applin Headband and Applin Apron. In the bonuses department, you'll enjoy 2× Candy for catching Pokémon throughout the event.

There's an increased chance of encountering Shiny Delibird and Shiny Skwovet in the wild. Plus, your odds of hatching Shiny Delibird, Shiny Cherubi, and Shiny Skwovet from 7 km Eggs are boosted.

A sweet addition to the event is the berry drop from Delibird and Skwovet. So, if you haven't already, grab Pokémon GO from the Google Play Store and dive into the Sweet Discoveries event.
