Anime Vanguards' Winter Update 3.0: A Festive Frost of New Content

Developer Kitawari has unleashed Anime Vanguards Winter Update 3.0, bringing a blizzard of changes to this popular tower defense game. The update features a completely overhauled lobby, a significantly expanded unit roster, and a host of quality-of-life improvements designed to enhance the overall player experience.

The most striking change is the lobby's complete redesign. Kitawari states the previous lobby was "too small and cramped," prompting the creation of a vastly improved space, described as "10x more impressive," complete with a customizable day/night cycle accessible in the settings menu. This is accompanied by a remastered UI, particularly a streamlined stage selection interface.

Beyond the visual enhancements, the update introduces several key gameplay additions:

• New Game Modes: "Portals," a new game mode with unique mechanics and tiered rewards, encourages players to utilize winter units and skins for increased damage and bonus rewards. A "Sandbox Mode" allows for unrestricted experimentation with strategies.

• Expanded Unit Roster: Twelve new units have been added, spread across a new Winter Banner, the Portals game mode, the battle pass, and leaderboard rewards. These include Emmie (and her Ice Witch variant), Rom and Ran, Foboko, Karem, Rogita, Soburo, Regnaw, Dodara, Sosora, Seban, Rodock, and Giyu.
